Despite this terribly cold weather we are experiencing in the midwest, i must say i am all about these slouchy printed knits. Also similar to the sweater coat i still want from the jane austen book club via maria bello. 

New semester started this week. Bah humbug.

Noot Seear looking hot. I have yet to see the new twilight movie, but we are all anticipating it. Who knows how good it actually is, but i'm sure it will be pretty entertaining. I really like her jewelry in the first pic, which is getting me excited to be taking a jewelry class in the spring. Then i can maybe pretend to be like the litter girls. Interesting weekend, weird weird dreams, happy to be going home soon for the holiday.

I am really loving the sheer tights/cut-offs look with a short dress. This gives me some ideas, and also brings me back to my ballet days when everyone in studio would cut off their tights to hit knee length. Just add leotard and sweaters.

ok, this hair is awesome. knee socks and leopard too??? i think i'm in love. the mom decided to tell me about all the great outfits she has been seeing thanks to nyfw. i must say it made me sad to be in the midwest :(

in other news, watched the vmas with the roomies in time to see kanye being a douche, and beyonce being an all around bad ass while performing single ladies.

This shoot reminds me of those awesome Italian films from the 70's, where the women laze about their pallazas, drinking cocktails and chain-smoking to their maid. Suspiria is a great horror film, with heavy eyeliner and dubbing to match.

Opening Ceremony finally has these jeans which I have shamefully wanted for months now. I feel like if I actually got them, i would get bored really soon though. Erin can make anything look awesome. I know I don't have that skill.
