Will work for shoes

My new shoes. I agreed to do odd jobs for my mom in exchange for a shopping trip. After I picked up the perfect sheer (M, you will love) button down, I promised to go shoe shopping with her. Behold what I found there. Of course, now that I start my first day of work in 1 hour, hopefully soon I can return to the store, and pick up some more goodies. These will be perfect for saturday night.

Origami

After a christmas party, the sis decided to keep the origami balloons hanging from the ceiling. I got a new battery for my dad's old 35mm, so hopefully some cool (and much better photos) will appear shortly. I'm excited to document the parade that my sleepy town is preparing for Monday.

Lipstick

Chloe Sevigny rocks the matte lips often.

I am really in love with this nude matte lipstick that Holly Golightly wears in Breakfast at Tiffany's. I've been trying to create this look (with think voluminous lashes), but every lipstick I find it too... shiny. I've read great things about a Givenchy lipstick that I will have to try out.

Le apartment 
Street art murals were everywhere. This was next to a community garden where the sis has her co-op. 

Philly was gorgeous. We went to a tag sale in the park across the street from her apartment to get local veggies and 50 cent books. After, we hit up this hilarious bar that had floor to ceiling vintage PBR paraphernalia. Saw some random concert where a Rolling Stone photog took pics of my sister dancing in the crowd. Must look for the june 4th issue. All in all, a sweet ass weekend.

Sheer terror (not actually so terro-ble)

Why do I love sheer? Maybe I'm a closet nudist or love the anatomy or really, I'm just repressing my desire to be in a porno. Either way, designers dig the sheer and I, the consumer, create the market for sheer.

AA is soo overdone, but atleast they're embracing sheer (surprise, surprise!)

topshop goodies:This skirt could be really fun with some grey accessories...
I've been attracted to a lot of pink lately. I think it's this weather. 

I feel like I should be eating popsicles and going to carnivals. Oh wait, I already went to one. I've been scoping out some fun stuff on topshop to see what i want to get when i go to the store. Since i've been home, I haven't worn any black. I like the bright colors, but I think that summer whites are gonna be the official uniform.

In light of tonight's possible James Bond theme, i thought it would be fitting to mention the bond girl. Of course my favorites were from the Sean Connery era. 60's and 70's wrap dresses and gold bikinis. Pussy's rocking high waisted suede like no one else.
